Dog Friendly Dining: Crossroads Cafe in San Francisco’s South Beach neighborhood

San Francisco has changed immeasurably over the past couple decades, and it’s become hard to find a great place to hang out with your dog. Right? Is the neighborhood just south of the Bay Bridge along the Bay even still called South Beach?

Anyway, next to and part of the grander Delancey Street Restaurant is Cross Roads Café. I try and meet my folks there every Sunday morning after taking Marmalade for a walk.  It’s a fine place for coffee, a sandwich, and I’m told a salad (yea, I’ve never had a salad there.)  There is a nice outdoor area with tables and chairs should the weather permit (there are no outdoor heaters or umbrellas) but Crossroads Café will ALSO let your pooch hangout inside while you dine!

Even better, at least for your dog, don’t be surprised if one of the staff wanders over and asks if it’s ok to give your dog a treat. While you say yes thinking your dog is about to get a biscuit the staff whips out a piece of bacon! Now who thinks this is the best dog friendly café in South Beach?
