Last week, Mark was named Small Business Advocate of the Year by San Francisco’s Small Business Network. In a City filled with so many dynamic and engaged small businesses, this is truly a great honor. Of course, Mark has the ability to be engaged in the issues facing San Francisco’s small businesses only because the amazing Pet Camp Counselors give such great care that it allows him the luxury of not having to be at Pet Camp all the time.
That said, we know he would rather spend time with the campers than with folks at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, or at some other small business meeting (as nice as all those people are – they are still people and spending time with people is not why he followed Virginia to work at Pet Camp). And while the dogs always warn you before they snap at you, some of those big wigs don’t.
