Pet Camp Turns 20!

As shocking as this sounds, it is true!  On May 5^th 1997 Pet Camp opened for business in San Francisco.  It’s been an amazing and wild 20 years.  When we opened, people in the boarding industry thought we were crazy to allow dogs from different families to play together; today, dog group play and doggie day care is the norm.  When we invested in green technology and got certified as a green business, folks thought this was just some ex-United States Environmental Protection Agency employees showing their tree-hugging personalities; today, almost everyone agrees that businesses have a role to play in protecting the environment.  When we opened Cat Safari, one of the first cat-only care facilities in the Bay Area (and the only one with “outdoor” play areas for cats), people just laughed at us.  Ok, even to us sometimes the idea of a “Safari Solarium,” club lighting and tower aquariums does sound silly, but the cats love it!
So how are we going to celebrate 20 years in business?  All sorts of cool ways!  Here’s the first one: purchase a 20-day daycare punch card between May 5^th and September 5^th and get limited edition Pet Camp 20^th Anniversary SWAG.  Sure, before you ask, we’ll give you one if you purchase a 30 day punch card too.
