Introducing Pet Camp’s “Pioneer Package” for Senior Dogs: Keeping Your Older Dog Happy, Active, and Engaged

At Pet Camp, we believe that every dog, no matter their age, deserves to feel loved, engaged, and active. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our Pioneer Package—a special program designed specifically for senior dogs who might otherwise age out of traditional dog day care and overnight care facilities.

The Pioneer Package is tailored to ensure that older dogs stay comfortable, active, and mentally stimulated, all while receiving plenty of TLC along the way.

What’s Included in the Pioneer Package?

Every day in the Pioneer Package includes six 10-minute sessions of carefully curated activities, all designed to promote physical fitness, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being for your senior dog.

3 Leashed Walks

We begin with gentle, leashed walks that give your dog the chance to stretch their legs, stay limber, and take in the sights around them. These slow-paced outings also provide an opportunity for your dog to take care of “business” and enjoy a little fresh air, all while avoiding the hustle and bustle of a busy daycare environment.

1 Klimb© Platform Session

Balance and strength are so important for senior dogs, and the Klimb© platform session is a fun way to keep them physically fit. This activity helps your dog maintain strength and stability while also encouraging mental engagement through safe platform work. It’s a perfect mix of exercise and brain stimulation!

1 Snuffle Mat Session

Older dogs may slow down, but their noses are still sharp! Our snuffle mat session is designed to engage your dog’s sense of smell, allowing them to participate in scent-based activities that keep their minds active and sharp. It’s a fun, rewarding way to stimulate their brain and bring out their natural curiosity.

1 TLC Session

The Pioneer Package wouldn’t be complete without a little extra love and care. Our TLC session is a time for gentle bonding between your dog and one of our counselors. Whether it’s a cozy cuddle or a calming belly rub, this session ends the day with affection and security—just like being at home.

Plenty of Treats!

Every dog loves a tasty treat, and we’ve made sure that your senior dog will enjoy plenty of rewards throughout the day. After all, no day of fun is complete without a few tasty snacks to keep things exciting.
